The Fundo Soberano de Angola (FSDEA) is Angola’s sovereign wealth fund, established in 2012 as the country’s vehicle for managing oil-revenue surpluses and making strategic long-term investments. FSDEA holds a globally diversified portfolio across listed equities, fixed income, and alternative investments, and operates a domestic investment mandate supporting infrastructure and industry development inside Angola.
Strategic role
FSDEA was extensively restructured between 2018 and 2022 following governance reforms. It is supervised by the Angolan executive and reports financial results annually.
