Benguela

Major coastal economic centre — port of Lobito, Benguela railway terminus, and an emerging hub for the Lobito Corridor.

Benguela is Angola’s second economic centre and the western terminus of the Lobito Corridor — the cross-continental railway connecting the DRC’s copperbelt to the Atlantic. The Port of Lobito is the region’s strategic logistics hub and is at the centre of the multi-billion-dollar G7-backed corridor investment programme.
